The Fisher House Ground Breaking Ceremony
"Not everyone who comes to Charleston is on vacation".
The ground breaking ceremony for The Fisher House Charleston, number 72 Fisher House facility worldwide was held on November 18, 2016.
Fisher House Charleston will provide a comfortable, home like environment, where family members can stay, free of charge, while their military and veteran loved one is undergoing treatment at Ralph H Johnson VA Medical Center.
Post 3137 had three comrades/VA Hospital volunteers attend the ground breaking ceremony. There are many volunteer opportunities at Ralph H Johnson, and the personal experience of providing the much needed assistance to a veteran and their family is appreciated many times over. Come join our Post 3137 team!
