VFW Post 3137 Monthly Post Comrades Meeting Reminder

This month it's time to start thinking about April elections. All officer positions at post 3137 are open and we 're looking for nominees. Let your voice be heard. Then prepare to be there in April for voting.

These meetings are also an opportunity for everyone to stay in touch and be a part of all that we do at post 3137 to support our fellow veterans, their families, and the mission of the VFW.  Many important topics that affect you, and the operation of our post, including business related items, post improvements, and upcoming social events are discussed and crucial decisions are made at these meetings.

VFW Post 3137 Monthly Post Auxiliary Meeting Reminder

As we all move forward together, 2017 is one of the biggest areas of opportunity at our post is to improve the attendance at our monthly auxiliary meetings, held on the third Monday of each month, starting at 6:30pm.

These meetings are an opportunity for everyone to stay in touch and be a part of all that we do at post 3137 to support our fellow veterans, their families, and the mission of the VFW.

The kiosks on front beach and parking lots will be uncovered and Officers will begin warning citations March 20.

Enforcement will begin April 3 at which time citations will be issued for violations. This information provided by the IOP police department.

Fish Fry 2017 - We're Back - Coming in April!

Join us the Saturday April 1st for our first Summer Fish Fry of 2017.

The Post on the coast will start up our Fish Fry's on Saturday April 1st 2017 @ 6pm (Bridge Run Day) and another on Saturday April 22nd. Then May through October, every 3rd Saturday of the Month @ 6pm.

$10 per meal, includes Fresh Fried Fish, Tater Tots, Hush Puppies, Baked Beans, and Close Slaw with desserts provided by auxiliary and members. And of course you can get and enjoy your favorite beverages at the bar.

Volunteers make this happen, old crew and any new Volunteers, contact Bo @ (843) 224-8704 in the coming weeks. Fry Crew, Serving crew, kitchen crew, Trash crew it's what we do.
