The 2017 Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday September 10, 2017 with tee time 9:00am. This is the largest fundraiser of the year and we always need the and support of our membership.
How can you be involved?
If you can't actively participate on the committee or make the event itself in September, ALL Donations are appreciated from members and sponsors.
$25, $50 or more. Every little bit goes a long way to supporting our mission. If you can, make a donation, write a check, make it out to "VFW Post 3137" and write Golf Donation on the Memo line.

Brave Beach Bash – Hosted by A Healing Grace - Saturday July 29
Join us July 29, 2017 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm for the Brave Beach Bash hosted by A Healing Grace. This is a Public Event.
Downstairs below the VFW on the Isle Of Palms come and enjoy Beach Music brought to you by DJ Jim Bowers, Shagging, BBQ, Beer, Wine, Silent Auction, Live Auction, & Good People Having Fun For A Good Cause!
Start the evening off early with some Acoustic Music at 5pm from the very talented Melissa Walker. Get your bids in early on silent auction items while enjoying the beach breeze and a plate full of BBQ!
DJ Jim starts bringing down the beach house at 6pm with his variety of beachy tunes. Get your Shag on or just enjoy the beautiful ocean views! Saturdays are made for relaxing and drinking an Ice cold beer. I can't think of a better place to enjoy an adult beverage on a Saturday evening.
Live Auction at 8pm where you can get great deals on some Amazing items like Fishing Trips, Golf, & More! Tickets can be bought ahead of time online( if you would like to save a couple of dollars) or at the door.
Tickets for Adults are $10 & Children are $5. Cost of admission includes your yummy BBQ, beautiful views, and your fun entertainment.
2016-2017 All American VFW Post Celebration - Wednesday August 2
Come celebrate with us at the Post on the Coast to honor for our outstanding performance in earning All State and All American status for 2016-2017. This milestone can only be accomplished through our active membership, volunteering and support of the VFW mission.
Our Mission:
"To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military, and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans"
This event is private and limited to Comrades and Auxiliary Post members ONLY + spouse or significant other
- Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 2, 2017
- The post will open its doors at 5 PM
- There will be an open bar from 5 PM until 7 PM
- Food will be served at 6 PM. Barbecue and Fixin's provided by our neighbor and staunch supporter the Windjammer.

VFW Post 3137 Monthly Comrades Meeting Reminder -
Monday August 14
These meetings are also an opportunity for everyone to stay in touch and be a part of all that we do at post 3137 to support our fellow veterans, their families, and the mission of the VFW. Many important topics that affect you, and the operation of our post, including business related items, post improvements, and upcoming social events are discussed and crucial decisions are made at these meetings.

Next Fish Fry - Saturday August 19
Join us on Saturday August 19th for our monthly Fish Fry.
$10 per meal, includes Fresh Fried Fish, Tater Tots, Hush Puppies, Baked Beans, and Close Slaw. And of course you can get and enjoy your favorite beverages at the bar.
The Fish Fry is held the 3rd Saturday of the Month @ 6pm through October, so mark your calendars.
Volunteers make this happen, old crew and any new Volunteers, contact Bo @ (843) 224-8704. Fry crew, Serving crew, Kitchen crew, Trash crew...it's what we do.

Members are encouraged to actively participate and hope you can attend. These meetings are an opportunity for everyone to stay in touch and be a part of all that we do at post 3137 to support our fellow veterans, their families, and the mission of the VFW.
