Honoring Our Fellow Member George E. Bowers
It's with a heavy heart that we inform you our fellow member, George E. Bowers, 77, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on February 22, 2019.
By the Grace of God, he was born in Charleston, SC on February 28, 1941; a son of the late George W. and Hazel Bowers. George is survived by daughters Kimberly Bowers, Wendy (Dee) Jenkins, grandsons DF Jenkins IV and Cooper Jenkins - all of Johns Island. He is also survived by his loving lady Lynn Grady, his favorite sister Cookie (Bill) Hutchinson, brothers Ted (Laura) Bowers and Bobby (Linda) Bowers, nephew Rob Bowers, nieces Lori B. Crane and Hailey Bowers, and former spouse Gwen S. Bowers - all of the Charleston area.
In lieu of flowers, George would love for you to fly an American flag or memorial donations may be made to VFW Post 3137, PO Box 185, Isle of Palms, SC 29451 Services will be private with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
