Fellow Post Comrades and Auxiliary Members,

In conjunction with the other food and beverage establishments on the Isle of Palms, and in full compliance with South Carolina and Isle of Palms government orders, we will be reopening our Post for limited outside only service, effective tomorrow, May 6th at 3:00pm.  Only bar staff is allowed inside our Post and I am personally asking  everyone to adhere to this most important requirement.  Our downstairs bathroom, along with the public restrooms down the street from our Post are available for use.  I am very confident that everyone will follow this rule and it won't be a problem.

If you decide to visit our Post in the near future, you will notice that all of the tables on the upper deck along with the tables downstairs are spaced in accordance with our Governor's and the Isle of Palms special orders and can not be rearranged for any reason. Also, under no circumstances can there be more than 8 individuals at any table (I personally think that's too many) and the tables must remain 8 feet apart.  If you are standing and enjoying a conversation with a fellow Post member, you must remain 6 feet apart…no exceptions.  Our bar staff and House Committee members are all well informed of our plan to reopen and they will be available to provide you with any additional information and guidelines that we all must follow.  At this time and until further notice, we are limiting Post visits to our 3137 Membership along with their one guest for obvious reasons.

As we have all heard and said in the military many times, let's all "get with the program" and we will be able to have a safe and enjoyable visit to our Post with our fellow members.
