VFW Post 3137 will hold a ceremony to honor Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Gold Star Memorial at Patriots Point.

As part of this ceremony we are inviting our members to put forth the names of any fallen service members and their families that you would like to have specifically honored on September 27th.

Please submit Full Name of Service member, Branch of Service and any additional information you would like us to know/share about them to Dawn Holzer at doholzer@gmail.com or 336.558.3720, Joe Spann at 843.442.3484 or to a Post employee. Names must be submitted by 7pm Thursday, September 24th to be included.

2020 Gene Johnson Memorial Post 3137 Golf Tournament

Sunday November 1, 2020 - All Teams and Tee Times are posted at the post.

This year's Golf Tournament has been rescheduled and will be held on November 1st at the Wild Dunes Harbor Course with scheduled tee times starting at 7:30am. Due to Covid-19 and course regulations, the shotgun start with large gatherings was adjusted to staggered tee times.

This will be the 21st anniversary of our golf tournament, and thanks to your partnership, it remains our most important fundraising event of the year and provides the funds necessary for our Post's Mission of "supporting our active duty military, our veterans, and our community".

Because of Covid-19, and in conjunction with Wild Dunes, we are taking the necessary precautions for all golf team members to enjoy a great day of golf on the Wild Dunes golf course. This is the perfect opportunity to get outside, have fun, and support a great cause!
