Important topics which affect you and the operation of our post, including business related items, post improvements, and upcoming social events are discussed and crucial decisions.

Join us on Sunday 10/18 for a Veteran's Day Parade on the Beach
Sunday October 18, 2020 - 11:00am

The Post will be participating in the Charleston VA Medical Center's Virtual Veteran's Day Parade. This means we will host our own parade and videotape it to be submitted to the Department of Veteran Affairs. They will select the best 150 thirty second videos to be played on Facebook on Veteran's Day, November 11th, in their Virtual Veteran's Day Parade.
To participate please arrive at the Post by 10:30am. The parade will be a few minutes long on the beach in order to tape a couple of 30 second segments. Please wear your military or VFW gear. The Post will distribute American flags to everyone for the parade. Comrades in the front row will carry a banner.
Social distancing and masks are required for this event so we will space the parade out according to guidelines. No music or drinks are allowed during the parade due to the videotaping. The Post will be open immediately following the event.
NOTE: By participating in the event you give the Department of Veteran's Affairs the right to use your image in the video to promote their services in television, social media, or print materials.
