Comrade William "B-52 Bill" F. Milcarek Passing

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of fellow comrade and life member William "B52 Bill" F. Milcarek. Bill passed peacefully the morning of July 4, 2021 at the VA Medical Center.
Bill always the patriot with an absolute love of flying was shot down in Vietnam, survived and persevered. His entire world revolved around the aviation industry with a commercial pilot's license and owner of Aerosnet as an Expert Witness on Aviation Matters ( former B-52/ C-5A Pilot ). He was also a member of a local chapter of River Rats who are maintaining the legacies of America's greatest air warriors, passing those legacies to the young warriors who follow, and taking care of the children of those warriors who gave all. For years he served as a regular volunteer with the VA Medical Center crew from our post.
Bill enjoyed his time with fellow veterans and friends at the post, shared stories with many of whom were aviators enjoying the time and laughter with his fellow comrades. Along with so many we have lost as shown above shares the bond we all do as VFW members supporting and lifting each other up.
Details surrounding a memorial service and celebration of life will be communicated as we learn more from the family.
You will be truly missed brother, may you now fly higher than ever in safe and restful peace.
