VFW Post 3137 Comrade Elections

For our Post 2022-2023 Officer elections we have multiple Comrades nominated for the three Commander positions. Fortunately, our bylaws contain procedures to conduct elections using a poll system.

At the March 14, 2022, regular meeting in accordance with VFW Bylaws and Manual of Procedures Article II Sec 217. The Comrades present voted unanimously to use the poll system for the 2022-2023 Officer Elections, and to close nominations at the end of the March 14 meeting to allow the Adjutant to prepare a printed ballot.

ARTICLE II, Sec. 217 Provides procedures for conducing elections using a poll system.

Consistent with the procedures.

Nominations closed March 14, 2022 to allow the ballot to be printed. Elections will be held April 11, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the downstairs rental area using a paper ballot. Members in good standing with valid credentials (VFW ID) are eligible to vote. Absentee ballots and proxy votes are prohibited.
