VFW Legislative Service

The VFW never stops advocating for veterans.

Testifying at hearings. Interacting with Congress. Winning vital legislative battles. Fighting for justice. To date, the VFW has played an instrumental role in nearly every major piece of veterans' legislation enacted into law in the 20th and 21st centuries, including the Post-9/11 GI Bill, establishment of suicide prevention programs, compensation for Agent Orange and other toxic exposures, eliminating the Widow's Tax and many others.

You can help by being a part of our Action Corps!

VFW Post 3137 Sponsors

On November 6, 2022, VFW Post 3137 hosted our annual Golf Tournament at Wild Dunes on the Isle of
Palms, South Carolina. This annual event is an important fund-raising event for the Post, yet equally
important it provides our Comrades, Auxiliary members and their guests and opportunity of fun and
fellowship.

This event takes a tremendous amount of planning by so many people and each year it becomes better
and better. I want to take this opportunity to say a special thanks to the many people, organizations
and businesses that donated to our Post, whether through your time or charitable gifts. Without your
support and sponsorship, this event would not have been possible.

As we enter this holiday season, I want to wish the very best to you and your families and extend my
sincere appreciation for everything you continue to do for the "Post on the Coast."

In Comradeship,

Charles "Bo" Stallings, Jr.
Commander VFW Post 3137
